Benefits of IEHA Membership

Registration fees for the annual spring and fall educational conferences are lower for members. These Conferences provide timely information on a broad spectrum of public and environmental health issues. Spring Conference is a one day educational meeting with various topics and speakers, and Fall Conference encompasses 2 ½ days of education, networking, vendor presentations and tours.

”Journal of Environmental Health”, the official publication of the Association, is published three (3) times per year. It contains articles on current environmental issues, and IEHA news and events. It is available to members from IEHA’s website at www.iehaind.org. It is also sent out to members through an email link for convenient viewing.

Chapter meetings offer opportunities to network with peers and gain knowledge through the speakers and tours provided. Chapter groups are known also to take on community projects. There are 8 Chapters in the IEHA.

IEHA Membership promotes and supports the registration, continuing education and training of professionals.

Our membership is provided with scholarship assistance from the COPED fund upon application, to help support members who elect to participate in continuing education and training.

IEHA is affiliated with the National Environmental Health Association, Inc. (NEHA) and the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) to ensure and support national professional standards

Associate Membership - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited “Associate Membership” is available to individuals expressing an interest in the field of environmental health, who desire to receive the Association’s publications, and other privileges as approved by the Executive Board.

New Member Applying April 2 - June 30 - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited “Active Membership” is offered to those employed full-time in environmental health, or other related activities as approved by the Executive Board. Active membership may be granted by the Executive
Board to persons employed part-time in environmental health. Each active member shall be entitled to one vote.

New Member Applying Jan 1 - March 31 - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited “Active Membership” is offered to those employed full-time in environmental health, or other related activities as approved by the Executive Board. Active membership may be granted by the Executive
Board to persons employed part-time in environmental health. Each active member shall be entitled to one vote.

New Member Applying July 1 - Nov. 30 - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited “Active Membership” is offered to those employed full-time in environmental health, or other related activities as approved by the Executive Board. Active membership may be granted by the Executive
Board to persons employed part-time in environmental health. Each active member shall be entitled to one vote.

Student Membership, New - Free Subscription period: Unlimited “Student Membership” shall be composed of students enrolled full-time in environmental health, public health or related courses of study at an accredited college or university, and who have an interest in the objectives and purposes of the Association. Each student member shall be entitled to one vote. To encourage student engagement, the fee for new student members is waived for the first year. Thereafter annual dues for student memberships are $20.00.

Sustaining Membership - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments “Sustaining Membership” shall be composed of persons, agencies, companies or corporations which promote the objectives and purposes of the Indiana Environmental Health Association, Inc. (IEHA), and desire to contribute to the Association’s efforts. Each sustaining member shall be entitled to one vote.

Sustaining Membership Plus Link from Website - $200.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments “Sustaining Membership” shall be composed of persons, agencies, companies or corporations which promote the objectives and purposes of the Indiana Environmental Health Association, Inc. (IEHA), and desire to contribute to the Association’s efforts. Each sustaining member shall be entitled to one vote. This level of sustaining membership also includes a link on the Association website.

Sustaining Non-for Profit Membership - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments “Sustaining Not-for-Profit Membership” shall be composed of not-forprofit organizations which promote the objectives and purposes of the
Indiana Environmental Health Association, Inc. (IEHA), and desire to contribute to the Association’s efforts. Each sustaining not-for-profit member shall be entitled to one vote.
