The Environmental Health Specialist of the Year Award is given to a member of the association engaged actively in the field of environmental health or public health preparedness and emergency response for two or more years. This award is given to members who have made outstanding contributions to the field in the past five years that have been significant in improving and protecting public health and welfare and made significant contributions to the advancement of the Indiana Environmental Health Association.
